Neighborhood Speeding

Have you noticed a Hamilton County Deputy monitoring your speed?  Get used to it.  At the request of a concerned neighbor who contacted the Hamilton County Engineer, a traffic study was performed in the Weston's to collect data regarding vehicle speeds in the neighborhood.  The results of the study can be reviewed here.  The study revealed that the while the average speed is just over 27 mph, there were instances in which vehicles were traveling at excessive rates of speed (> 45 mph).  The neighbor forwarded the data to the Hamilton County Sheriff and patrols have increased and tickets are being written.  According to deputies who have patrolled our neighborhood, a large percentage of those vehicles that have been ticketed for speeding were those of WESTON RESIDENTS!!
